Cheryl Bridgers Cheryl Blythe Bridgers, 62, of Austin, passed away on Sept. 25, 2008. She was born July 12, 1946 in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. to the late Roy and Bertha Blythe. Deloris Brister Deloris Ann Brister, 78, of Cabot, passed away on Sept. 24, 2008. She was born Aug. 18, 1930 in Hays, Kan., to the late John and Emma Pfifer Burgardt Doyle Hackler Doyle F. Hackler, 70, of De Valls Bluff, passed away on Sept. 27, 2008. He was born May 7, 1938 in Ward to the late John Arch Hackler and Hester M. Grimes Hackler. Edna Wawak Edna Louise Wawak, 91, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri was born Jan. 6, 1917 in Prairie County, Arkansas to Willie Payne and Sophia Chandler Stanley and died Saturday, September 27, 2008. Freddie Joe Owens Freddie Joe Owens, 55, of Paragould passed away Oct. 5, 2008, at his home. He was born May 24, 1953, in St. Louis, Mo., to Joe and Helen Owens. Irma Neal Cothran Irma Neal Cothran of Cabot, Arkansas was born Jan. 16, 1922 in Judsonia, Arkansas. On Sept. 22, 2008 Irma went to be with her Lord. Iva McFarlin Iva Rosalie McFarlin, 76, of Paragould died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Jerry Eason Jerry L. Eason, 57, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at the Baptist Health Medical Center Springhill in North Little Rock. Jimmie Burnett Jimmie Lee Burnett, one year old of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2008. He was born Sept. 6, 2007 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Jimmie attended New Testament Missionary Baptist Church. LaVeta Phelps LaVeta Janet “Bennett” Phelps departed this life peacefully to live for eternity with her heavenly Father, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at the Baptist Medical in Little Rock surrounded by her loving family and friends. Mable Romine Mable Nancy Romine, 67, of Jacksonville, died September 23, 2008. Preceding her in death are parents Dennis and Mable Mahoney, her husband Red Romine, children William Taylor Jr., James David Taylor, Glenn Taylor, and step-son Charley Romine, brother J. T. Mahoney and Sister Lucille Mahoney. Margaret Birmingham Margaret Jean Huffman Birmingham, 72, of Paragould died Monday at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Oct. 11, 1935, the daughter of Oscar and Allie Bobbitt Huffman, near Bono, Ark., but lived most of her life in Paragould. She was a retired supervisor at Emerson Electric and a member of the United Methodist Church.  Melinda Byrd Melinda Lee Jones-Byrd, 32, of Batesville, passed away Sept. 29, 2008. She was born June 28, 1976 in Sidney, Ohio to Curtis Jones & Dorothy McElroy. Michael Blackall Michael Brian Blackall, 34, of Beebe passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 in Little Rock. He was born March 15, 1974 in Frankfurt, Germany to Marybeth Macomber and Donald Avery Blackall. Pauline Harden Pauline Francis Wittenburg Harden, age 89, of Cabot died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 at Cabot Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born February 3, 1919 in Deep Water, Missouri to the late Ray H. Francis and Leona Rand Francis. Pauline was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Cabot. She was also preceded in death by husbands, John Wittenburg in 1972 and Arley Harden in 1995; son, Donald Wittenburg in 1984; grandson, Ricky Don Wittenburg; brother, Charles Francis in 1955 and a sister, Ramona Graham in 1984. Robert Sandner On Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008 Robert Allen Sandner, 55, of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with his Heavenly Father. He was born Nov. 4, 1952 in Litchfield, Ill. to Violet Pauge Sandner and the late Vernon Sandner. Robert Wright Robert Earl “Bobby” Wright, 56, of Little Rock, passed away Sept. 22, 2008 in Little Rock. He was born Aug. 1, 1952 in North Little Rock to the late Georgia Parker Ives and Fred Ives. Sunshine Shearer Sunshine “Granny Shine” Shearer was received into Christ’s Kingdom on Oct. 5, 2008. Born Nov. 9, 1924, she was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and a Baptist. Timothy Smith Timothy Lee Smith, 41, of Austin passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 in Jacksonville. He was born Feb. 15, 1967 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Timothy served his country in the United States Air Force from 1988 to 1995. He was a computer technician for Windstream.
