Arthur Wilson Buck 

CASSVILLE, Mo. -- Arthur Wilson Buck, Jr., 83, of Cassville died Nov. 20, 2008, in his home. He was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Bristol, Penn., to Arthur and Gladys Tomlinson Buck, Sr.He entered the Army in 1943 and served in Germany. He was decorated with the Silver Star for the Battle of the Bulge under Patton's 3rd Army. After the war, he finished High School in Fullerton, Calif., and was employed as a draftsman and engineer for an oven manufacturing company which sent him all over the world.He was past-commander of Erwin Easley American Legion Post 118, Cassville, Mo.He was preceded in death by one son and one granddaughter.Survivors include his wife Darlene Natalie Hillesland; two daughters, Angela Nehf of Cassville, Mo., and Cherrwynne Walker and her husband, James of Cassville; two sons, Arthur Buck of Cassville and Randall Buck; two brothers, Jack Buck and Earl Buck, both of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Gladys Waite and Ruth DeMeter, both of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, online at www.fohnfuneralhome.com. CASSVILLE, Mo. -- Barbara June Stumpff, 85, of Cassville died Nov. 19, 2008, in Barry County Care Center, Cassville. She was born June 11, 1923, in Jenkins, Mo., to William Henry and Chloe Hudson Blankinship.She graduated from Cassville High School and was a lifelong resident of the Cassville area. Along with farming her entire married life, she operated Dairy Queens in Cassville and Crane. She was an elementary school teacher for the Brock and Gravel Hill Rural Schools. She was an employee of the Cassville Sears Catalog Store for several years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Stumpff and two granddaughters, Sunni Stumpff and Tricia Vaught.Survivors include three sons, Rex Stumpff and wife Janice, Max Stumpff and wife Yvonne and Roger Stumpff and wife Gaye, all of Cassville; a brother, Mike Blankenship of Jenkins; a sister, Bonnie Ragain, of Jenkins; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, online at www.fohnfuneralhome.com. She was born in Philadelphia on July 29, 1922, the younger daughter of John G. Schrott and Florence E. Schrott.She joined the U.S. Navy Waves in April 1943, rose to the rank of chief storekeeper and was discharged August 1946. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking and baking, sewing and needlepoint. She also was an avid reader and a member, officer of St. Raphael Church Senior Club.Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Albert of the home; two sons, Robert of Fayetteville and Thomas of Long Beach, Calif.; a niece, Nancy Wolf; and nephew, William Wolf, both of California.Holy Mass and recitation of the Rosary will be offered at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. He was former manager of Wheaton Farmers Exchange and had been mayor of Wheaton. He worked in insurance for 40 years and purchased Chaney Insurance and combined it with Shelter Insurance. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wheaton and a life member of the American Legion Post 118. Taylor Anne Hebert, of Gravel Ridge, went to play in heaven on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008. Taylor was born in Little Rock on Dec. 22, 2005 to Cody Brown. "Larry", as she was affectionately called, loved being outside riding her bicycle and jumping on the "jumpoline." She was not afraid of getting dirty, and wrestling with her brothers was a favorite pastime. Heaven welcomed a special and unique person when "Larry" arrived, and while we are comforted that she is there, we will dearly miss her smile and her engaging personality here.

Harley was also a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II. He co-owned Wooldridge Grocery for 26 years and then spent 11 years in maintenance at Greene Acres Nursing Home. Harley was the son of the late C.V. and Grace Wooldridge. He is also preceded in death by a son, Randy Wooldridge; brother, Hal Wooldridge; and sisters, Chestine Tribett and Aileen Powell.
